Installation procedure

  Fans

Count number of fans to be connected to the thermal control board and set up the jumpers as follow.

Connect all fans starting from connector number 1 and without skipping any connectors. (Up to 8 fans can be connected.)

  Note:

Jumpers should be set and fans should be connected before connecting the power. Failure to do so, may create a fault condition.

  Heat sensors (2 pcs)

Chose the temperature to be the one to trigger the alarm and set the jumpers as follow.

If the alarm goes off, the setting chosen may be too low. Check inside temperature of chassis and set up again choosing a

  higher temperature setting.

Test the temperature sensor by placing it in a hot environment.

If the alarm does not go off,

The sensor may be faulty. Try the second one. If the second one still does not trigger the alarm, the thermal control board

itself may be faulty and need to be replaced.

An alarm sound and a flashing LED while the temperature sensors are not connected are also sign of a faulty device.
